While Peterson has offered filtered pipes since 1947, the Irish marque's signature style of robust shanks and transitions has generally allowed for a seamless crossover between their filtered and non-filtered renditions of the same shape, allowing the smoker to choose which best suits their preferences. For the past 24 years, the notable exception has been the Dublin Filter line — championing Peterson's filtered pipe selection with a range of filter only pieces. Today we welcome another filtered pipe series to the Irish marque's lineup: the Army Filter.

Combining the timeless aesthetic and convenience of Peterson's Irish Made Army series with 9mm drilling, Army Filter pipes enjoy the rare combination of accommodating a filter and also featuring an army mount, allowing the pipe to be disassembled while smoking. Utilising hand-shaped nickel mounts and divided across a range of Peterson's most popular shapes, the Army Filter series is available in either a dark-stained sandblast or Peterson's smooth, walnut Heritage finish.
