Over on the US site, back in 2016, I realised we'd amassed a considerable number of images, some of which were specific to makers, some of which were more in the general 'lifestyle' category. Once we'd used them for social media though, they sat around in backup drives collecting digital dust and serving no real purpose — which was somewhat of a shame considering the time and effort expended. Not wanting them to go to waste after they'd served their various purposes, we decided to go ahead and make them available as desktop backgrounds.

If you've been a customer of ours since it was just the US site and, more specifically, read the blog you might remember that we'd occasionally offer some of our library of images as desktop backgrounds.

As some of you may have noticed, we recently dropped a new category into our estate pipes selection: Pipe Rescue. In short, these are pipes that needed a little more love than our usual restoration process could provide.

If you have spent much time browsing our website you may have noticed that we have some pipes. A lot of pipes. So many pipes that when you are looking for that one pipe, the one that fulfills all of your needs, the one that is just what your rotation is missing, it can be an arduous task, requiring several cups of coffee, a handful of hours and the singular, obsessive resolve of Captain Ahab himself.

To my mind certain alcoholic beverages have links to certain countries. When I think of Scotland, for example, I think of Scotch whisky, with France I think of wine, Italy and grappa (but also wine), Belgium and beer, etc. Even when I think of my native Australia the first drinks to come to mind are beer and wine, and at a stretch a certain brand of rum.
